Now you can test the acid levels in your body as often as you like. Just stick one of these strips in your mouth (or urinate on one) for 2 to 3 seconds, then compare the color of the test strip to the color chart on the package, which will give you your pH level.

A pH level of 7.0 is great because that means your body is neutral .. neither acidic nor alkaline. Your body should have a neutral pH of 7.0 to 7.2. A pH under 7.0 means your body is too acidic. Too much acid can cause not only Heartburn and Acid Reflux (GERD), but also discomfort associated with:
Gout
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
Vulvodynia
In case your pH is under 7.0 you can either modify your diet to eliminate acidic foods and/or beverages. Or, you can take an Acid Redux tablet on an empty stomach. Test your pH level again in a couple of hours to see if Acid Redux decreased your acidity level by raising your pH. Take more or less Acid Redux tablets to adjust your body pH.

There are 50 pH Litmus Test Strips to each package.
