Summary of the Results of our IC Study
Welcome to our website for those of you suffering from the pain, and frequency of urination associated with Interstitial Cystitis (IC).
Below are some results of a Pre-Clinical Study conducted among Interstitial Cystitis (IC) sufferers:
Respondents reported a 40% improvement in their pain levels with Acid Redux when compared to the medications that they were previously using for Interstitial Cystitis (IC).
Study Facts:
There were 20 total respondents
All of them currently suffer from Interstitial Cystitis (IC), 11 from other acid-related diseases.
Of the 20 with Interstitial Cystitis (IC), they rated the severity of their pain (on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most severe pain):
7.4 before medication of any kind
5.3 after medication
3.2 after using Acid Redux
4 reported that their frequency of urination went from 20 times per day before to 8.75 times after Acid Redux.
12 reported that with Acid Redux they were able to cease the use of the Antacid and/or Acid Blocker that they were previously using …6 were not able to and 2 did not report.
18 of the 20 respondents said that they would recommend Acid Redux to people with similar conditions.
I started using Acid Redux a few days ago and am very happy. I have endometriosis and was put on Lupron Depot in Oct. 2006. The Lupron caused me to also have Interstitial Cystitis and Vulvodynia. Once diagnosed in May of 2007, I did what my doctor wanted and by July I was fed up. I did some research and found one product for IC called IC Aloe which helped tremendously. Although I changed my diet and life style I could also enjoy some of my favorite foods. At this time I used PH Balance to balance my PH. I was flare free until January of 2008.
I had an endometriosis flare that triggered an IC flare that took 3 weeks to get under control. After that I came down with bronchitis and the antibiotics triggered the vulvodynia. My PH was acidic and I could not get it regulated. Some how I came across Acid Redux. within a day my PH was back in the 7.5 range and I have not had to use any Ultracet for my back pain. I have also noticed that I do not need as much IC Aloe during the day. Today I had my first cup of coffee since I found out I had IC and I did not have any repercussions! Acid Reux is a wonderful product and you will have a life time customer. I have been looking for a new product that helps more then one condition.
